February Liturgical Living

Here’s your monthly simple liturgical living post for the month of February — the month dedicated to the Holy Family:

We’re keeping it practical & simple, especially because February is a full month for us. My husband and I celebrate our anniversary in February, and our little one celebrates his birthday as well.

Two prayers we’re doing our best to implement this month are:

  1. Praying a Holy Family prayer before dinner every night (although, let’s be real, we have already missed a night or two).
  2. Seven Sundays in honor of St. Joseph.

Aside from that, we’re being intentional about celebrating the following feast dates:

  • February 11 – Feast day of Our Lady of Lourdes
    • We’re praying the rosary as a family
  • February 14 – Feast day of St. Valentine
    • Reading the story of St. Valentine’s & baking a heart-shaped dessert
  • February 22 – Feast of the Chair of St. Peter
    • Praying for the pope

May you encounter the love of God in deeper ways this month, and may the prayers of the Holy Family bring greater unity and love in your family.

Peace,

Connie
